He has been inducted into the FIBA and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He medalled in 3 consecutive Summer Olympics. Winning Gold for USSR in 1988, then Bronze for Lithuania the following two Olympics for the team dubbed "The Other Dream Team".
